The test positivity rate in the focus areas under NY's Micro-Cluster strategy is 5.28%.
The statewide positivity rate excluding these focus areas is 3.04%.
We continue to take strong action to respond to outbreaks and to stop the spread.

@JenLingeman @NYGovCuomo Teachers union. They didn't want to work from the get go so set 3% positivity rate as their number. Truth is, there are areas around 1% in the city and areas that are over 8%. Need to start cutting up the city.

Of the 173,085 tests reported yesterday, 6,265 were positive (3.62% of total).
Total hospitalizations are at 2,982.
Sadly, there were 41 COVID fatalities yesterday.
