The tech world is discovering life beyond the Bay Area and it's....really nice!

People have always daydreamed about moving, but now they have the freedom to make that leap -- The Great Reshuffling.

“Zoom Rooms'' showing up in listings on @Zillow is another way we prove how we are finding ways to stretch and wrap our work to fit around our lives instead of the inverse.

Having had front row seats to a full on revolution (in Iran, in 1979), this situation is scary, yes. US democracy doesn't have the strength and stability it used to. But this is not what a revolution looks like. It is pandemonium caused by hooligans, and it *will* settle down.

My conversation with @mario_cibelli on deep research and public equity investing.

- cracking Netflix vs blockbuster
- value of visiting distribution centers
- Stitch Fix
- WWE
- Tequila

Mario is known for his incredibly deep research. You’ll see why.

A crystal clear window into the mind of a great stock investor.

More than two dozen of America's leading CEOs shared their advice for the incoming Biden administration with @CNNBusiness. Here is what they had to say
From me, @apbenven and @talyellin

The @JoeBiden administration can meet this moment with policies that give power to the people: invest in affordable housing, more access to capital & work to end systemic racism that too often keeps home out of reach. Thank you @claresduffy and @CNNBusiness for including us.

Zillow has been named a best workplace for parents by @FortuneMagazine. We offer work-life balance and top-rated caregiver benefits that allow our employees to be their most present selves at work, while still putting their family first: #ZGLife

It’s easy to be critical of life in Zoom-land, but getting to see and meet Zillow kids is pure joy.

Learned that my daughter & friends have a game where they pick a town, a budget, & a pretend station in life. They then compete to see who can find the "very best" Zillow home/rental. Great way to learn about mortgages, rent, cost of living, etc. Looks like they aren't alone!

Feels like crowd-based R&D is happening here...

Existing-home sales rose to the highest level since February 2006. The national median sales price rose to $313,000.

These record sales levels are not “catch up” of lost demand. This increased demand to move seems to be evidence that a Great Reshuffling of where, and how, we live and work is underway. This reshuffling could be the defining cultural trend of the decade.
