President Trump hasn’t taken questions from the White House press corps in three weeks now. He’s made several statements in briefing room, like just now, but hasn’t answered why he won’t accept his election defeat. It’s the longest stretch of his presidency without taking Qs.

As close as an acknowledgment as we’ve seen from the outgoing president that there will be an incoming one (though he continues to claims there’s a possibility somehow he “will prevail,” regardless of reality). The Biden transition is formally starting now.
An @NBCNews tally confirms 194,160 new COVID-19 cases in the U.S. on Friday, marking another single-day record. The previous daily record was reported Thursday, with 193,200 cases. Tragically, there were at least 1,880 deaths reported across the country today.
