Minimum wage should be at least $22/hr. Anything less just leads to more struggle and stress.

So Biden’s $15 minimum wage comes out to $31,200 a year for a 40 hour work week. The starting salary for a beginning teacher in Texas is $33,660. So a person working a minimum wage job will be making almost the same as a teacher with a college degree. Does this make any sense? 🤷♂️

Billionaires convinced y’all certain jobs aren’t hard work, so don’t require a decent wage. And y’all ate it up. Yet in a pandemic those same workers became “essential workers” and kept our service economy from collapse.
For clarity’s sake: I retweet a lot of things that don’t pertain to me personally as a straight white cis male. I don’t do that to include myself in the subject matter, but to amplify the people and messages I believe in. I hope that’s always clear.
