Christian Cerna-Parker, CEO of nonprofit Gay and Sober (@gayandsober), has seen the age of people reaching out to his organization dropping since the pandemic.
“I've seen people as young as 19 come in recently. Normally, people who reach out for help are in their 40s or 50s.”
NYC Pride will partner with LGBT Centers to host intimate watch parties for LGBTQIA+ youth. LGBT Centers who partner with NYC Pride will have visibility within the digital event via logo inclusion, verbal mention, and Eblast and social inclusion.
#BlackHistoryMonth is a time to reflect on the strides that have been made. But in many ways, Black History is still being written. Cece McDonald said, “I would have rather been punished for asserting myself than become another victim of hatred.” #becauseofcece
