People always ask me why I moved to MN from the East Coast and my answer is always the same: @MedPedsMike. Today, the MPPDA wrote this letter to #ACGME, #Tulane, and the medicine and pediatric program directors association in support of Dr. Dennar and calling for accountability.
The APPD believes all institutions of medicine need to be anti-racist and stands in solidarity with BIPOC leaders on the frontline of this fight. ✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽 @APPDconnect #BlackLivesMatter #RepresentationMatters @FuturePedsRes @pedsmd2b @RFentonMD @tmswDO @NdidiUnaka @JyothiMarbin

Tonight my 3 year old saw my pills on the table. She asked if she could help me take them and I said yes. She then picked them up, 1 by 1, placed them in my mouth, and waited for me to drink water and swallow. We did this 21 times. I fight ALS for her.
Good night moon.
Kids are just the best

Lots of lip service praising healthcare workers
Limited action to decrease risk of transmission
Right now, folks 75 and up can be vaccinated in MA.
In a month or more, folks 65 and up will be able to.
What is the life expectancy in Roxbury, MA, a majority Black community and one of the areas hardest hit by COVID?
This is how you ingrain health inequities.
